Bengals

The emotional rollercoaster

Fan misery across the game window. Up is worse.

What happened

B.Nix scrambled in untouched for a touchdown in the first quarter, and the night never really got more competitive than that. J.Browning's deep shot to T.Higgins was the lone flicker, while C.Sutton repeatedly carved up the secondary on short routes. D.Knight's interception was a touchback that meant nothing on a 3-28 scoreboard. Seven months of waiting for this, with J.Chase's prime ticking away — the question isn't whether something breaks, but who finally admits it already has.
