Week 3 · 2025–26 season
Bengals
L 10-48 at Vikings · Sep 21, 2025
Misery Index · Despair
Bengals fans done debating Taylor's job security and resigned to two more years of this exact feeling.
The emotional rollercoaster
Fan misery across the game window. Up is worse.
What happened
J.Browning's first-quarter pick-six to I.Rodgers turned the game inside of three minutes, and the same defender forcing a N.Fant fumble in the second quarter felt less like bad luck than a diagnosis. Down 48-10 with the season's nine-month buildup collapsing into Week 3, the conversation around the fanbase has already shifted from playoff math to whether Zac Taylor makes it to Denver with anything resembling a functional roster.
