What happened

Losing 36-30 stings enough on its own, but the game effectively cracked open on the opening script when a B.Purdy dump-off to M.Evans turned into an 80-yard Deebo Samuel lateral touchdown — the kind of play that erases any belief a defense might have built. S.Fehoko's recovery of the S.Neal muff gifted a short field and it still wasn't enough. Nick Rallis's unit keeps hemorrhaging the exact moments the offense scrapes together, and nobody sounds interested in pretending that's fixable.

  • It’s funny having the refs against the #Rams and they completely collapsed with a 16-0 point lead… #NFL #49ers are 3-0GIF

It’s funny having the refs against the #Rams and they completely collapsed with a 16-0 point lead… #NFL #49ers are 3-0 while being 2-0 in the division, while their division rivals, the Seahawks, Cardinals, and Rams all lost today. You love to see it!
