What happened

Any hope of a competitive afternoon evaporated on the first drive, when D.Lock hit J.Smith-Njigba for an 82-yard touchdown before the stadium had settled in. J.Brissett's short scoring toss to T.McBride briefly made it a game, but a second Lock-to-Smith-Njigba touchdown in the third quarter turned the rest into a formality. The stands filled with Seattle jerseys, the fanbase filled comment sections with complaints about Brissett and ownership, and nobody left convinced this roster has a floor.

Monti Ossenfort took over as the Arizona Cardinals GM in 2023. The team is 3-16 against the NFC West during that time, including 0-7 against the Seattle Seahawks. The Cardinals have not won a divisional game since 2024.
