Winnipeg went 0-4, and the losses got louder as they went: 1-5 against Florida, 4-6 in Tampa, 2-5 back in Florida, then the 0-7 rout in Carolina that served as the week's verdict. One fan counted nine straight defeats and called the shutout "absolutely embarrassing." Others demanded someone "fire the man tonight" or "fire Fleury into the sun." A season-ticket holder declared they were "requesting a trade," which, with the best player already gone, appears to be the franchise's most popular exit.
