What happened
Dallas opened the week with a 5-0 shutout that left the fanbase diagnosing line combinations as criminal offenses, one fan calling Dellandrea with Smith "a war crime" while another worried "Asky is going to need therapy after this game." The turn came in St. Louis, a 3-2 win credited less to the skaters than to "Ned (and the posts)." Edmonton took the homecoming 3-1, and somehow the mood held: "THIS MEANS SOMETHING TO ME MAN."
