• Sun, Nov 1W 6-3vs UTA61

The emotional rollercoaster

Fan misery across the week, every six hours. Up is worse. Dashed lines are games.

Worst game: Wed, Oct 28, L 2-5 @ Washington Capitals

In-game fan misery, every 15 minutes.

What happened

The Flyers went 1-2, and the fanbase spent the week drafting the coach's exit paperwork. A 3-4 home loss to Columbus soured the mood, but the 2-5 defeat in Washington was the turning point, with misery spiking to 96 and one fan praying ownership "cleans house." A 6-3 win over Utah registered mostly as an inconvenience. The week's top verdict: "Michkov keeps scoring goals that keep Tocchet employed, while Tocchet keeps coaching like he's trying to get fired." Both men, apparently, are excellent at their jobs.
