The emotional rollercoaster

Fan misery across the week, every six hours. Up is worse. Dashed lines are games.

Worst game: Mon, Oct 12, L 1-4 vs Ottawa Senators

In-game fan misery, every 15 minutes.

What happened

Four games, two wins, and somehow the mood barely moved. It opened with a 1-4 loss to Ottawa and a penalty one fan called "softer than dogshit," then a 5-4 win in Detroit that mostly produced an argument about whether Nico should keep the C. The turn came Thursday: 7-1 over the Rangers, a weekend "starting off the right way," misery briefly bottoming out. Then 2-4 in Washington, and back to "I want Keefe gone." Joy here has a two-day shelf life.
