What happened

Two games, two moods, neither of them calm. The 5-3 loss to Utah ended with a whistle nobody could explain, and the fanbase spent the night asking "how in the hell can there be an 'intent to blow' rule, it continues to be the actual dumbest thing in all of sports." By Saturday the coach was on the chopping block anyway — "put a pitchfork in Sheldon Keefe" — until a 4-1 win over Vancouver arrived and the rage simply relocated, this time toward a diving Canuck: "start shit then flop like a fish." The turning point was the win, and it changed almost nothing.
