The emotional rollercoaster

What happened
The Kings split the week 2-2 and somehow came out of it feeling worse. A 6-3 win at the Rangers bought one night of calm before a 1-2 loss in Chicago sent misery to 96, the week's real turning point. Beating Ottawa 6-5 produced not relief but a chant, "FIRE LUC!" on loop. Then came a 2-3 home loss to Buffalo. One fan summed it up: "I don't know why I keep turning on the games at this point." Neither does anyone else, and the TV stays on.
