What happened

The turn came in Utah, a 119-120 loss decided by a possession that had people asking, "A middy over Jaxon Hayes? That's the play?" Denver's 135-141 finished the job, 0-3, with calls to "Fire the whole org into the sun" and one 2018 convert bagging up merch: "Goodbye, everyone!" Week one of eighty-two.
