The emotional rollercoaster
Fan misery across the week, every six hours. Up is worse. Dashed lines are games.
What happened
Six games on the road, one win, and a season record of 77-85 to show for it. The 5-1 win in Pittsburgh was the week's only warm spot, Burly driving in another run with silver slugger talk in the background. The turn came the next day: a 1-2 loss decided, as one fan put it, "because of a low-IQ throw to second." Milwaukee finished the job. The fanbase has stopped grieving and started clock-watching: "Tomorrow, it will finally be over.
