What happened
The week opened with a 4-6 loss in Philadelphia and a fanbase grumbling about "a cheating kick," then turned when Megill "safely land[ed]" the 4-1 the next night. A 5-1 finish there brought win number 100 amid dueling chants, and the Cardinals were swept out of Milwaukee 8-4, 3-2, 6-4 to close at 103-59. Brice Turang reached 100 RBIs. Misery fell to 10, which for this crowd counts as dangerous levels of belief.
