What happened

Down 0-2 after a 3-4 loss at home, the fanbase had already reached the "I'm tired, boss" stage, with Dolan getting his customary invoice. Then Chicago happened. A 9-3 road win, nineteen strikeouts and a fan rhyming "GUARDS IN FIVE," flipped the series and the mood. A 9-5 follow-up left one supporter "certain we were going to lose and then shocked we could win," then vice versa. The 2-0 clincher made it 3-2. Misery fell from 79 to 46. Someone got married; the timing has rarely been better.
