What happened

Two games in San Diego, two games gone. The 0-8 opener was the kind of thing that made one fan admit it was the "first Cubs postseason game I've ever turned off," with others calling it "one of the all time worst Cubs postseason performances ever." Game two at least had a pulse until PCA's challenge, the turning point by fan consensus, "changed this whole game batting wise." A 1-4 loss ended it at 0-2. Someone offered the 2001 Mariners as comfort. Nobody took it.
