Misery Index · Despair · ▲ from 63
Kentucky didn't just beat them, it dominated them, and the fanbase buried the season in the third quarter.
The emotional rollercoaster
Texas A&M fans’ misery during the game, every 15 minutes. Up is worse.
What happened
Kentucky came to town and left with a 21-31 win that, per the home crowd, flattered Texas A&M. The third quarter was the hinge — the stretch where one fan said Kentucky "flat out dominated us," and the scoreboard stopped being the point. A&M fell to 2-1, and the misery index jumped from 61 to 85, which is roughly the distance between concern and the guy posting "[SEASON IS OVER] THANK YOU FANS!!!" in September. Three games in, the eulogies are already drafted.
