What happened
A 50-0 win over Missouri State should have produced joy, and instead produced a shrug with a smirk attached. The turning point was the shutout holding into the fourth quarter, at which point the fanbase stopped watching the field and started watching other scoreboards, concluding that "our death was greatly exaggerated. But not as severe as Michigan's." At 1-0, the celebration mostly took the form of the slogan "WE QUILT THIS CITY." Nobody's convinced yet. Nobody's complaining either.
