What happened
South Carolina beat Towson 45-9 and moved to 2-0, and somehow the fanbase came out of it angrier than it went in. The turning point wasn't a play so much as a pattern: pass after pass hitting hands and hitting turf, against an opponent that had no business forcing anyone to notice. One fan asked whether the forward pass could be "banned before next week," calling it "clearly a mistake." Another just wanted receivers to stop dropping "every. fucking. pass."
