What happened

Oklahoma beat Texas 27-24 in the Red River game, which should have been enough to make a fanbase forget two months of grievances. It mostly wasn't. The turning point came when the Sooners finally found the end zone against Texas, ending a drought that had become its own cursed folklore — hence the all-caps victory lap: "AND LET THAT BE A LESSON TO YOU ALL. NO ONE, AND I MEAN NO ONE, HOLDS US TO 3 STRAIGHT YEARS WIHTOUT A TD!" Even winning, somebody still asked "WHAT THE FUCK ARE THESE REFS ON???" At 3-2, joy arrives pre-complained-about.
