Beat Indiana by four, sat at 6-1, and still spent four quarters howling about holds and Sayin eating sacks.

What happened

Ohio State went to Bloomington, won 19-15, and came home 6-1 with a fanbase angrier than it was a week ago. The turning point wasn't a play so much as a pattern: Sayin eating sacks instead of throwing the ball away, a second helping that convinced the room nothing was coming. Every time a defender got home, somebody in the thread was screaming that he "CAN'T GET THERE BECAUSE HE'S BEING HELD." One loss all year, and the misery index keeps climbing. Winning has rarely felt so much like bracing.

What fans said

  • “CAN'T GET THERE BECAUSE HE'S BEING HELD”

  • “For the low, low price of $750,000/year, I will sit in Ohio State's offensive meetings during game weeks and smack people in the back of the head when they suggest running goal-line sets without Jeremiah Smith on the field.”

    u/InsertAmazinUsername▲ 31frustration

  • “If he's winced like that 2/2 on throws you need to pull him. You're just risking him getting hit and *really* fucking him up”

    u/FanaticalBuckeye▲ 16frustration

  • “Second time Sayin has ran into a sack instead of just throwing it away. We're not going to break double digits with a QB pissing down his leg every time he sees a defender running at him”

    u/outburst37▲ 11rage

  • “Is the coaching staff fucking dumb enough to think an under center run was working? Fucking throw Arthur Smith off the building.”

    u/TheWorstYear▲ 9rage

  • “That was fucking terribly set up, there was fucking no one over there”
