One trip to Oxford and the room is already reading the rest of the schedule like a doctor's chart.
The emotional rollercoaster
LSU fans’ misery during the game, every 15 minutes. Up is worse.
What happened
A 24-32 loss in Oxford dropped LSU to 2-1 and cost the fanbase its benefit of the doubt. The turning point wasn't a snap so much as a realization: the play calling, which one fan called "diabolical," stopped being a quirk and started looking like the ceiling. Preseason optimism curdled fast, with the top post in the room conceding to the skeptics, "TO ALL THE HATERS OUT THERE, you guys made a great call." Misery climbed from 35 to 57. September rarely feels this long.
