What happened
Louisville beat SMU 41-31 on Friday night, and the fanbase spent most of it waiting for the floor to give out. One poster had already written the eulogy when the Mustangs jumped ahead early, declaring the season over if the Cardinals couldn't trade scores. The turning point was simply that they could, and did, long enough for the scoreboard to stop mattering. At 2-1, misery dropped from 45 to 30, though nobody trusts a unit called "more suspect than Boyd Crowder." Winning quietly is apparently not on the menu.
