What happened
Louisville beat Villanova 59-13 and the fanbase spent the evening doing math on everything except the scoreboard. The turning point wasn't a play, it was the realization partway through the rout that an FCS blowout answers nothing: Ivey still has to "get his shit together" before SMU, Linc is "a DOG," and somebody wants to "play anyone but Isaac Brown at this point." Mostly they recited old wounds, "five of our last six losses by three points or less." At 1-1, contentment here looks a lot like bracing.
