What happened
Kansas State went to Tempe and came home 4-3 after a 17-28 loss to Arizona State, and the misery number jumped from 41 to 68 without much argument. The turning point wasn't a play so much as a quarterback change, the moment the Wildcat faithful stopped watching the game and started watching the depth chart. One fan simply wanted his "long haired QB" back. Another noticed the booing and pointed out that "having the crowd boo has to be demoralizing." October has a way of making a fanbase mean.
