The emotional rollercoaster
Indiana fans’ misery during the game, every 15 minutes. Up is worse.
What happened
Indiana won 13-6 at Michigan, moved to 7-1, and somehow the fanbase got grumpier. Misery jumped from 54 to 68 in a week that ended with a victory, which takes a certain kind of talent. The turning point was the second half, when the offense stopped existing and the broadcast apparently found time for something one fan screamed about as "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT POLITICAL BULLSHIT PROPAGANDA." Another called it "totally embarrassing," the worst he'd seen. Seven wins, zero joy, one very long flight home.
