What happened
Iowa beat Iowa State 16-13 and moved to 2-0, which somehow registered as a worse week than the last one. The turning point was the final second of the fourth quarter, a stretch of clock that one fan processed as "WHAT YHE FUCK IS A SECOND GRAAAAAHHH!!!" Elsewhere the grievance was officiating, specifically "So we not calling holding now?" and a verdict on Big 12 referees. Undefeated, in-state bragging rights secured, misery index climbing. This is the version where things go well.
