Houston fans’ misery during the game, every 15 minutes. Up is worse.
What happened
Houston beat Oklahoma State 35-32 on Saturday, and for once the stress was the fun part. A fanbase conditioned to expect the floor to give way instead watched a three-point win hold up, then walked out calling it "one of the best games I've been to at this university." The turning point was the final stop that kept the margin intact. At 6-1, the misery needle barely moved, because someone here is still waiting for the catch. Nobody found it this week.
