What happened
BYU beat Iowa State 24-10 on Thursday night and moved to 5-0, which sounds like a fine way to spend an evening. The fanbase experienced something else entirely. The turning point wasn't a play but a non-call, a hold that went unflagged in full view of an official, and the thread never recovered: "Clear as day penalty. Ref looking right at it. Fuck these refs." Elsewhere, "PULL HIS ASS!!!" Misery climbed from 46 to 58 during an undefeated week. Winning has rarely felt so unresolved.
