What happened
A week after feeling fine at 14 on the misery scale, Auburn fans got handed LSU, 38-17, and the turning point was the moment it stopped being a game and became a chore: the point where the broadcast had nothing left to sell but the number, and the booth kept circling back to the spread. One fan begged them to "shut the fuck up about betting lines." Another called it "joyless like watching an adult kick the shit out of a kid." Now 4-3, with no reason to think the next one goes differently.
