What happened
Arizona State dropped a 20-27 decision at BYU to fall to 4-4, and somehow the fanbase came out lighter than the week before. The turning point, by popular verdict, was the quarterback choice: Keene looked "clearly the best QB on the roster," so "why didn't he start." Others griped that Cardae Mack "barely touched the ball in the second quarter" and, after the officiating, admitted "I miss the PAC." Still, most credited the "effort and heart" with Boley out.
