What happened
Arizona opened with a 35-7 win over Northern Arizona and moved to 1-0, which ought to register as a pleasant Saturday and instead registered as a 47 on the misery scale. The turning point came not on the field but on the uniform, where someone spotted the conference patch and declared the night ruined: "Except for that disgusting monster patch. Fucking Yormark." Elsewhere, mourning for a series that ends soon, with one fan already grieving the catering: "I am gonna miss fajitas next year." Winning, apparently, is not the hard part.
