What happened
M.Mariota's first-quarter interception by M.Danna at the KC 22 set the tone before the offense ever found rhythm, and by the time P.Mahomes hit T.Kelce for 38 and K.Hunt for the short touchdown, the math was already cruel. The defense showed real signs, which is the small mercy fans are clinging to. The bigger worry: shredding KC early and walking away with seven points is the kind of game that haunts a season.
