What happened
J.Croskey-Merritt punched in the go-ahead score and the defense closed the door when M.Sainristil jumped a J.Herbert throw at the WAS 1 — the kind of red-zone larceny that turns a comfortable lead into a finished game. J.Daniels hitting L.McCaffrey for 50 yards down the middle didn't hurt either. Fans are letting themselves smile for once; whether that holds when the schedule stiffens is a problem for next Sunday.
