What happened
M.Mariota found D.Samuel for 38 yards down to the 2, then threaded a 3-yard touchdown to T.McLaurin to pull within one with under three minutes in overtime — and then the two-point try to J.McNichols fell incomplete. The fight was real, the McLaurin grab will live on highlight reels, and the officiating will be relitigated all week. None of that changes a one-point loss that hinged on a single throw.
