What happened
C.Barton's pick-six of J.Herbert handed Tennessee an early gift, and C.Dike's 67-yard punt return score should have sealed a script-flip. Instead, T.Pollard stuffed at the 1 became the play that lingers, and the offensive staff's wildcat fixation has fans openly begging for it to stop. At 1-8 with the worst start since 1994 in sight, the question isn't whether the roster is broken — it's whether anyone calling plays knows what to do with it.
