What happened
C.Ward marched the offense 70 yards in the final minute, hitting C.Ridley for 38 to set up J.Slye's 29-yard chip shot as time expired — the kind of drive that retroactively justifies a season. The interception by D.Taylor-Demerson eight minutes earlier should have ended it, and the T.Pollard fumble in the second quarter nearly did. One win doesn't erase the dread, but for a fanbase that spent last week at 94 misery, a functional offense is enough to sit with.
