Fan misery across the game window. Up is worse.
What happened
C.Ward's 34-yard strike to G.Helm gave the building a heartbeat, and then B.Purdy proceeded to carve up the secondary on every drive that mattered — R.Pearsall alone seemingly available whenever San Francisco wanted him. The offense's answer was another helping of WR screens and C.Dike wildcat looks that went nowhere. The scoreboard says 37-24, but the louder question is whether anyone on this coaching staff has a second idea.
