What happened
Down by three with 49 seconds left, B.Mayfield throws short to M.Evans and L.Ransom picks it off to end it — a play call and a throw the fanbase will be relitigating until training camp. The 40-yard strike to E.Egbuka and Mayfield's 23-yard scramble gave Tampa every chance, and Grizzard's offense still couldn't punch it in. When the postgame discourse is about firing the coordinator, the season has already curdled.
