The emotional rollercoaster
Fan misery across the game window. Up is worse.
What happened
The P.Nacua 22-yard touchdown on the opening drive set the tone, and M.Stafford carving up the secondary with short throws to D.Adams meant the hole was dug before anyone settled in. M.Jones found C.McCaffrey down to the 3 in the third, but trailing a Rams offense operating that cleanly was always going to end here. The officiating gripes are loud, but 42 points allowed at home is the harder thing to explain away.
