S.Darnold's pick-six to K.Medrano with four minutes left flipped a winnable game into a two-score hole, and even the answering strike to J.Smith-Njigba couldn't cover for a defense that let Washington convert twice on the game-sealing drive. Seattle out-gained the moment and still lost it, which is the kind of Week 3 result that quietly reframes expectations. The turnovers were the headline; the third-down defense is the actual problem.
