J.Fields hit J.Metchie deep for a 22-yard score in the third and even pulled off a 14-yard scramble early, but the offense never threatened to make 27 points feel reachable. D.Maye carved up the secondary on short throws to D.Douglas and M.Hollins between T.Henderson's touchdown run, and the quarterback discourse has officially curdled into Zach Wilson comparisons. The misery jump from 55 to 82 isn't really about New England — it's about not knowing who's throwing the ball next September.
