What happened
Overtime offered two chances to end it, and the Giants found ways to decline both: D.Zvada shanked a 46-yarder wide left, then C.Skattebo coughed it up at the WAS 24 after churning into the line. A tie in a game that begged for a winner, and neither side made a convincing case to be one. The scar isn't the result so much as the sequence — field goal, fumble, punt — a slow-motion refusal to just finish it.
