What happened
T.Shough dragged this team back from the dead — the 42-yard strike to C.Olave, the Fant touchdown, all of it — and then the two-point try to B.Lance sailed incomplete and the season's first gut-punch was official. Whether the refs got the intent call right will be argued in bars all week, but the more pressing concern is that C.Olave left the field again. A comeback loss is still a loss, and Week 1 already cost something.
