What happened
D.Vele's onside recovery off the C.Smyth kick gave the Saints life with 1:17 left, then the two-point try to Vele was picked and T.Shough's middle run for no gain on the ensuing possession sealed it. C.Smyth looks like a legitimate find, which is a strange thing to dwell on after a four-point loss where C.Olave's earlier interception and a Shough strip-sack already spotted Miami the cushion. The kicker is the story. That should not be the story.
