What happened
M.Jones taking a punt return 87 yards to the house on Carolina's opening possession set the tone, and from there it was a stress-free afternoon — D.Maye even scrambled in a 5-yard touchdown himself in the second quarter. Forty-two points at home against a real opponent isn't something this fanbase has been allowed to enjoy in a while, so the bigger question is whether this offense is actually here to stay or just caught a team having a bad day.
