The emotional rollercoaster
Fan misery across the game window. Up is worse.
What happened
D.Maye and K.Boutte connected for 24 yards before Boutte limped off, and the early D.Douglas touchdown briefly suggested a pulse. Then the third quarter happened: a Maye interception heaved toward S.Diggs, a B.Bowers 38-yard catch-and-run, and a D.Carlson 51-yarder that quietly buried the thing. A 13-20 home loss to open the year, and the bigger worry is that nothing about this offense looked remotely scary once Las Vegas adjusted.
