Week 5 · 2026–27 season
Vikings
W 23-13 at Saints · Oct 11, 2026
Misery Index · Euphoric
Vikings fans dropping the doomer act after burying the Saints in their own building, fumbles be damned.
The emotional rollercoaster
Fan misery across the game window. Up is worse.
What happened
The Vikings controlled New Orleans 23-13 behind a K.Murray-to-J.Jefferson strike in the third and an A.Jones goal-line punch-in to open the fourth, with W.Reichard's 54-yarder providing early cushion. Two fumbles inside the NO 15 kept this from being the laugher the box score hinted at, but M.Emerson's forced fumble and J.Jones's recovery on the kickoff flipped the field-position math anyway. Cleanest Vikings performance in weeks, and the fanbase has earned the exhale.

“Without the 2 fumbles this could’ve easily been 40-3. Clean those up and it’s a complete team win even with the injuries. This is our best win of the season so far imo”
