What happened
The blocked J.Bates field goal recovered by I.Rodgers flipped the game, and J.McCarthy's 16-yard strike to J.Nailor in the final two minutes sealed a road win in Detroit that felt overdue. S.LaPorta torched the middle of the field all afternoon, which is the lingering worry — the secondary got bailed out by special teams and a J.Redmond sack. Still, beating the Lions buys goodwill, even if the path there raised as many questions as it answered.
