What happened
A 31-0 shutout with J.McCarthy connecting deep to J.Addison and finding J.Jefferson over the middle, plus an A.Van Ginkel pick-six setup off the T.McLaurin target — about as clean a Sunday as this fanbase has seen in a month. The McCarthy progress is real enough to quiet the tank-for-a-quarterback crowd, at least for a week. Whether one tidy game against a struggling WAS offense actually answers anything is the question nobody seems ready to commit to.
