What happened
A four-point win over T.Shough should feel better than this, and the WPA chart explains why it doesn't: a successful Saints onside recovery at 1:17, salvaged only when the two-point try found M.Fitzpatrick's hands instead of D.Vele's. T.Tagovailoa fumbled his own scramble, threw a pick at the goal line to K.McKinstry, and got outplayed by a rookie backup. The scoreboard says W. Everything else says the argument about the quarterback is over.
